Wearable Baggage was one of my favorite projects. This animal is designed using entirely of recycled materials and was made to be a wearable and move with the person wearing it. I chose to create a sloth because they are such calm and amazing animals.
My sloth is made up of a light socket creating his sleepy, but happy face, a protein container as a body, backpack straps for long lanky arms, and cabinet handles for his three fingered paws. The motion I chose for my creature was to cling like a sloth does to a tree.
Final Product
Not only did this project have me create a three dimensional object, but there was a two dimensional aspect as well. A two page spread was created including a message about both sloths and the importance of recycling.
